About the travel:
From where do the airplane depart?
From most of the international airports in your country.
Do I need a passport to travel to Spain?
The students from the EU (European Community) DON’T need it. The rest of the countries do need a valid passport.
Where do I get a passport?
Ask for information in the corresponding organization in your country. You should ask in good time because it can take several weeks to obtain it. If you wait until the last moment you will have to pay an extra fee.
Do I need a visa?
It depends on how long you are going to stay. If you are here for more than 90 days you should call the closest consulate, and you will have to present the accreditation of the course you’re studying in order to apply for the visa.
What should I bring with me to Spain?
You will get all the necessary information at the orientation course, which will be held, in your area after you have confirmed the program and paid for the course. Students who are not enrolled in the group will get all of their questiosn answered by e-mail or telephone.
Is there a limit for how many suitcases I can bring with me?
You are allowed to travel with two suitcases and one handbag. If your luggage weighs more than 70 lbs /35 kg then you’ll have to pay an extra fee. NEVER travel with more luggage than you can handle on your own.
How much money do I need during my stay in Spain?
It depends on your needs. We recommend between 100 and 150 $ /102,41 and 150,60 euros per week; that is when you don’t eat at restaurants or spend a lot every day. There are credit card machines all over the country.
