How do you choose the host family for the student?
The assignation of the host family is made out from a big number of pre-selected families who have answered a series of questionnaires and who have been interviewed by our staff beforehand. All our students complete a ‘personality questionnaire’ in order for us to find them the most adequate host family as well as fellow roommate.

Can I choose whom I am going to share room with, and share it with a friend?
Yes. You should just mention it in the enrollment form under Accommodation.

Do the host families speak English?
Not always, but don’t worry. We put two students together with each family so that they can help each other. If the student prefers a single room in the family or in the residence, he or she will have to ask for it. and pay an extra fee.

What if I don’t like the family?
The responsible director in Salamanca will arrange another family immediately.
|

Are the families and residences far away from the study center?
They are never further away than 15 to 20 minutes’ walk.
|
|
What is the food like?
Normal Spanish dishes, based on the Mediterranean diet.
|
|
How many meals a day are included in the accommodation?
Three meals a day, seven days a week when you are living with a family or in a residence. During the excursions you will also have three meals.
